It's Women's History Month, but with February's craziness (including cancelling the February meeting due to weather), I haven't had time to select new stories. Luckily, the stories we never got a chance to discuss last month were both written by women, so we can discuss February's stories at the March meeting without guilt for skipping out on our theme!
The stories in question are:
What It Means When a Man Falls From the Sky, by Lesley Nneka Arimah
Playing Nice with God's Bowling Ball, by N.K. Jemisin*
Both stories have been featured on LeVar Burton Reads. If you prefer, you can listen to both What It Means When a Man Falls From the Sky and Playing Nice with God's Bowing Ball.
* In 2018, N.K. Jemisin became the first author ever to win three Hugo Awards in a row!
No Time to Read a Book Club will meet at the Osage Beach Library on Thursday, March 7, at 6:30 pm.
Can't make the meeting? Leave a comment to tell us what you think of this month's stories!
